Enjoy the gift of giving

This festive season City & Country are collecting donations for the Salvation Army’s Christmas Present Appeal across all our developments. We’d like to invite all our visitors and residents to drop into the Sales Suite to enjoy a Christmas drink and leave a toy donation for families whose children would otherwise not receive a gift.

We will be collecting these donations up until 5pm on Sunday 11^th December. We ask that you please buy a new toy, such as Lego, a cuddly animal, books or stationary, and donate it without any Christmas wrapping, still in its new packaging. These gifts will be given to children under 16, with presents for under three year olds and teenagers in highest demand.

The Salvation Army started its work on the streets of East London in 1865 and has grown into a worldwide charity transforming lives and fighting against social inequality.

It has over 650 churches and community centres across the UK and the Republic of Ireland, offering friendship and support to those in need. The Christmas Present Appeal provides gifts for children who wouldn’t get presents otherwise, with the Salvation Army expecting higher numbers of families requesting help this year. We look forward to supporting the Salvation Army with their appeal this year and thank you in advance for your generosity this Christmas.
