Customer Care – Meeting Your Expectations
The team at City & Country is committed to ensuring you are happy with every aspect of your new home. We believe we can best achieve an excellent aftercare service by providing a dedicated Customer Care team who can help guide you through your first years of ownership. The Customer Care team is on hand to provide assistance, advice and to investigate and resolve any latent construction defects raised within the initial City & Country warranty period, as proactively and professionally as possible.
Before Completion
During the lead up to completion, in addition to the construction and building control inspection of your new home, your Customer Care Manager will undertake an inspection of your property to ensure our high levels of quality and finish are achieved before serving legal notice to complete.
Prior to completion, you will be invited to attend a Home Demonstration to explain the workings and maintenance of your property. During the meeting, your Customer Care Manager will explain the fixtures and fittings, domestic systems, and appliances. You will also be provided with a Home Owner’s Manual which has been put together by the Customer Care team and includes lots of useful information about the local area, helpful contact details, and important property maintenance advice, along with operating manuals, guarantees, and certificates.
After Completion
For the duration of your City & Country warranty, any issues you are concerned by will be overseen by our Customer Care team. Your Customer Care Manager will review the items you have reported and work closely with our Subcontractors and dedicated Customer Care Coordinator to ensure their swift resolution.

Complaints regarding the Managing Agent
If you wish to make a complaint regarding the managing agent or any services provided by the managing agent, it will be dealt with by the Land & Property Team. Before raising a complaint through City & Country, please ensure that you have escalated the complaint directly with the managing agent and exhausted their full complaints procedure. If you are dissatisfied with the outcome, please follow the following process:
Complaints are to be made in writing, either by letter or by email to customercare@cityandcountry.co.uk and marked for the attention of the Property Manager. It is important for the complaint to be made in writing so that it can be fully understood and for it to be dealt with as promptly and efficiently as possible.
The Property Manager will respond to all written complaints within seven days of it being received.
