City & Country pledge to raise £10,000 for local Manningtree charity, Acorn Village
Factory No.1, Bristol, has been crowned winner at the UK Property Awards 2020. City & Country was best in class for Best Residential Renovation / Redevelopment Bristol and secures this prestigious award for the work carried out to convert and regenerate the historic site into new homes and commercial premises.
The judging focused on design, quality, service, innovation, originality, and commitment to sustainability.
Since launching in September 2019, City & Country has completed the renovation and conversion of Consort House and many residents have now moved in. The construction of Tobacco Store, the first collection of newly built apartments, is almost finished, with some residents also already enjoying their new home.
Once complete, Factory No.1 will provide 271 apartments, whilst the Imperial Arcade on East Street has already been restored and transformed into a collection of creative workspaces and retail premises, providing a vibrant mixed-use environment, attracting a range of new people to the area.
The project marks City & Country’s second major restoration project in Bristol; the award-winning heritage developer is also responsible for The General, the hugely successful restoration of Bristol’s waterside, former Bristol General Hospital.
