Bringing neighbours together for food, fun and community spirit
On Saturday 8th June, over 100 residents at Factory No.1 came together to enjoy the second annual Big Lunch – a relaxed afternoon filled with connection, conversation and celebration.
Organised by the residents themselves, the ‘bring and share’ lunch was a brilliant showcase of the vibrant community that’s taken root here. With live music, a children’s entertainer, and an array of homemade dishes, the courtyard was alive with the sounds of laughter, music and friendly chatter.
What began as a way to meet neighbours has grown into a tradition that reflects just how strong the bonds between residents have become. Factory No.1 is more than a collection of homes, it’s a place where people feel connected, welcomed, and part of something special.
With the sun shining and spirits high, this year’s Big Lunch was another joyful chapter in the story of this thriving new neighbourhood, and we’re already looking forward to seeing it return next year.
