Supporting Local Sport at Brantham Athletic FC

Award-winning developer City & Country has donated £1,500 to Brantham Athletic Football Club, funding new tracksuits for the club’s U23 men’s team.

Located near City & Country’s Manningtree Park development in Essex, Brantham Athletic FC has been part of the local community for almost 140 years, providing opportunities for generations of players.

Despite the popularity of the sport, research shows that 70% of local football clubs across England are underfunded. Financial pressures can limit the resources available to community clubs and make it increasingly challenging to provide opportunities for players of all ages to train, compete and stay involved in the sport.

City & Country’s donation will support Brantham Athletics' U23 team as it competes across Essex and Suffolk, providing new tracksuits for players travelling to home and away fixtures throughout the season.
