We are pleased with Colchester Council’s decision to approve our plans for new homes and community facilities at Brierley Paddocks. Being Essex-based, local projects like these are close to our hearts, and we look forward to working with the council to help deliver new homes, including a proportion of affordable housing on site.
Planning permission has been granted for 101 new homes, from one bedroom apartments to five bedroom houses, with a mixture of freehold and shared equity affordable housing, all set within the 7 acres of beautiful parkland and attractive landscaping of Brierley Paddocks, West Mersea. Planning permission also includes a doctor’s surgery and an office building and over 25% of the site will be open space for residents.
The scheme includes open space, a children’s play area, new footpath and cycle links and financial contributions towards local infrastructure.
