Residents and the local community celebrated the official opening of Manningtree Park’s natural playground with live music from Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist Mary P on Friday 9th August 2024. Designed with nature and diverse natural play in mind, the playground offers a safe environment for the community’s families to gather and enjoy quality time together.
Locals and families living in the new development gathered together on picnic rugs to enjoy free pizza from a local Manningtree pizza van, The Mobile Pizza Co, ice cream, as well as play giant lawn games.
The entrance to new play park is marked by a bespoke willow arch and guides children through a balance trail, including logs, stepping stones and boulders, and weaving up and down mounds. Adding to the exciting trail, wooden hurdles lead on to a slide and complimentary swing set, ideal for younger children.
