As each of our properties is so unique, we have our own in-house interior designer who works carefully with the architects to ensure that the interior specification complements rather than overshadows the original features of each property. This ensures that unusual spaces are transformed into exceptional interiors which are enhanced still further by their retained and distinctive architectural features.

At City & Country our expertise lies in creating a high quality specification that has individuality and understated elegance and makes each home a pleasure to live in. The specification at Balls Park is fully inclusive with all floor coverings, contemporary kitchens fitted with a complete range of appliances and luxurious bathrooms.

Meticulous attention to detail throughout the design process ensures that we make the most of the abundant light and space and retain original features wherever possible. By embracing and incorporating the existing architectural features at Balls Park we have created homes of real character and quality, which is often hard to find in modern developments.

The Mansion House

  • An exquisite black and white marble pavement in the common vestibule dating back to the 1820's
  • Ceiling to floor pannelling in the original state dating from the seventeenth century through to the 1920's
  • Fine joinery and plasterwork by Sir Richard Lorimer
  • Decorative plasterwork featuring family motifs from the 17th century
  • Suberb ironwork from the 18th century on the balconies and several fine garden gates
  • Solid oak three-panelled 17th century doors
  • Original sash window frames
  • Original fireplaces - retained and restored to several properties

The Stables
