David, a 23 year old electrical engineer originally from Wallingford, Oxfordshire was living with his parents until he saw the City & Country development advertised online. He immediately fell in love with his quirky two-bedroom, ground floor apartment and the Help to Buy scheme gave him the ability to put in an offer immediately and ultimately secure his dream home.
David said Help to Buy helped him buy at the right time:
“Having lived at home with my parents I was very much looking forward to the time when I would be able to move out and buy my own property. Thanks to the Help to Buy scheme, this came a lot sooner than I had anticipated and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.”
David chose to buy his home at The Garden Quarter because it’s a unique development. David said:
“Each property has its own individual characteristics; no two are exactly the same. I was looking for something special and The Garden Quarter really is a one of a kind development.
It’s such an honour to have the opportunity to live in a Grade II listed building and own my own piece of history.”
