Successful Partnerships Deliver Exceptional Results

We understand and acknowledge that the best solutions in heritage development are often found through collaboration and working in partnership. Strong and mutually beneficial partnerships are the centre of City & Country’s success, as by working together we have devised exciting and often unconventional solutions for our complex heritage sites.

Working with the Prince’s Regeneration Trust and the Battle of Britain Trust at Bentley Priory was hugely rewarding, as together we were able to deliver the legacy of a wonderful museum to commemorate the building’s former use as Fighter Command during the Battle of Britain, whilst viably conserving the Grade II* Listed Mansion for current and future generations to enjoy.

"For the trust, it has taken five long years to reach this point but we are now delighted to be working alongside City & Country to make our vision a reality. In partnership together, we can do real justice to Bentley Priory's rich history for the benefit of future generations."
Air Chief Marshal, Sir Brian Burridge

“The task of restoring and redeveloping King Edward VII Estate was an extremely sensitive and challenging brief that
demanded skilled heritage experts. Having given planning permission to City & Country we have been thrilled with the outcome.
We have been in constant communication throughout the project and the company has demonstrated a thorough understanding
and appreciation of the needs of the buildings, the local community and the wider area.  It has been a pleasure to work together,
and the Estate now has a sustainable and exciting future.”

Tim Slaney, Director of Planning, South Downs National Park Authority
