Neil Sargeant – Non-Executive Chairman“Over many years our most powerful motivation has been the constant pursuit of excellence in every part of our business. Now in our fifth decade our passion to enhance an already enviable reputation remains undiminished.” Neil was appointed Non-executive Chairman in 2007. He has over 20 year's experience in senior management and directorship roles across several industry sectors. Previous roles have been defined by the challenges associated with significant business growth and organisational change. Neil became an Australian citizen in 1990 and currently lives in Blackburn, Victoria. |
Tim Sargeant – Chief Executive Officer“City & Country Group offers a unique solution to our developments by simultaneously creating and preserving eminent sites. We invigorate tired sites with new life and purpose.” Tim has worked for the group since 1986 and has a genuine bottom to top first-hand experience of the many diverse aspects of the industry. He was appointed CEO in 2002. His drive, passion, tenacity, ability to recognise and communicate hidden value to the team has enabled the group to seize opportunities, unlock real value and make the vision a profitable reality. |
David Sargeant – Development Director“City & Country Group’s forte is designing and building high quality, innovative and well crafted homes which cannot fail to be treasured by their owners." Dave has worked for the company since 1985 and has personal hands-on experience of many traditional skills and crafts. He was appointed Development Director in 2002. Dave is a true problem solver with an eye for detail that has earned him the respect of qualified experts and consultants operating within his field. |
Andy Sargeant- Corporate DirectorAndy has worked for the Group since 1990 and was appointed Corporate Director in 2002 having been instrumental in the creation of City & Country Group through the merger of three individual companies. He is responsible for the Finance, Accounting, Human Resources and IT functions. ‘City & Country has always placed a great emphasis on ensuring that we maintain excellent relationships with our bankers and key stakeholders. It is for this reason that we have recently been able to secure a new bank facility to support our ambitions to grow the business significantly over the next 3-5 years.’ |
Bryan Sargeant - Director & Project ManagerBryan has worked as a Director within the Group since 1980 and with over 30 years of practical construction experience he is currently bringing this expertise to a Project Management role combined with heading the Group’s Health and Safety function. “City & Country Group places great emphasis on creating exceptional homes but we always do so within a context of Corporate Social Responsibility. Health & Safety is a top priority of our business and we respect not only the safety of our team and the wider public but we also aim to ensure that our construction activities are undertaken carefully and considerately in order to have the minimal impact on our residents, neighbours and the environment." |
Helen Moore – Managing Director City & Country Residential“The quality of the work City & Country undertakes in the conservation and restoration of heritage buildings is unique and really sets us apart from other developers. This is due in no small part to the passion; commitment and attention to detail that are the hallmarks of our exceptionally talented team.” Helen joined as Residential MD in 2010 assuming responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business and leadership of the team with a focus on the Group’s ambitious growth plans. She has worked at Board level for 15 years delivering effective end-to-end strategies, from land acquisition to brand positioning, sales and marketing campaigns together with excellent customer care credentials. |
Nick Moore – Head of ConstructionNick Moore rejoined the business in 2006 having been employed for 7 years previously. Nick's role as Head of Construction is very challenging given the nature of projects that City & Country engage in. He has over 20 year's experience within the industry and is a specialist in contract law and dispute resolution, with extensive skill and practice in budget preparation and adjudication. |
Simon Marner – Head of Land and PropertySimon Marner rejoined the business in 2006 having been employed for 9 years previously. A Chartered Surveyor with 25 years experience in both the residential and commercial property sectors, Simon heads up the Land and Property department specialising in property acquisition, management and lettings. |
Simon Vernon-Harcourt – Head of Planning & Design“City & Country’s guiding principle is to work with the historic grain of our sites. We are recognised within the industry as being at the forefront of intelligent design with the ability to weave contemporary homes into a building’s history and character, creating unique and outstanding properties that will stand the test of time.” Simon joined the group in 2007 as Head of Planning and Design. He is a chartered architect with excellent technical knowledge of historic buildings, construction techniques and planning rules. Simon has achieved a series of successful planning consents for challenging projects. |
